Once again, another Wednesday with out Reading Club. The chosen book was a complete success thanks to Professor Melvyn Elphee.

Aravind Adiga was unknown to most of us, it was indeed a fantastic find of both a great writer and country. During seven nights, Balram Halwai helped us to go all over India with a different perspective, far away from the established tourist and official cliche. It is the country of the light and darkness, of great contrasts and corruption, sadly hidden underneath progress and modernity.

We say goodbye to our dear friend Melvyn, going back to his country, but he is promised to all of us that on his return, in the coming season, he will definetely undertake a great variety of new projects.

This month´s book will be “The stranger” from Albert Camus, it has been the chosen one to discuss in our next meeting on the 22nd of March at 19:30. We look forward to seeing you all.
