Dear Members,

We celebrated the Canarian lunch on the 23^rd of May and we are pleased to say that many of our members attended and it was very successful.  The delicious Canarian food was really enjoyed by all, so our appreciation to our cook César and his helper Ángel for their hard work in the preparation of all the dishes.

On the 5^th of this month, there will be a talk y D. Juan José Laforet at 19:30h.  The subject is “La Historia de la Ciudad a través de sus planos históricos.”  Prior to the talk at about 17:30h we are offering a tea, comprising tea or coffee, sandwiches, scone and a piece of cake.  The price is 10€.

 On the 13^th of this month, we shall be having a curry lunch.  The curry will also be available in the evening, if you so wish.  As always, details will be sent to members as usual.  Please book your table in advance as the curry is always a very popular event in the club.

On the 19^th, at 19:30h, there will be a musical event by the Amigos de Teobaldo Power, and on the 20^th our Poetry meeting.

 On the 26^th of the month, we shall be holding our very popular Tea party and Raffle, so please make a note in your diaries.

JUNE

13^th – Buffet Curry  Lunch.-  Details will be sent out shortly.

18^th – Quiz, organized by Mr Adam Hoque at 19:30h.

19^th – Musical Event by the Amigos de Teobaldo Power at 19.30h.

20^th – Poetry meeting.

26^th – Special tea party and Raffle.  Please come along and bring your friends to enjoy a splendid English tea party, with homemade sandwiches, scones and cakes, followed by the drawing of the Raffle with all its wonderful prizes. As from 17:00 h.

Please don´t forget to book your tables in advance as it really helps our staff to organize things, plus it avoids disappointments of any kind.
